Real Crime Stories Archive
Accessibility
The Real Crime Stories Archive is designed toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA and aims to remain readable, navigable, and understandable across devices and assistive technologies.
Current approach
- Semantic headings and landmarks support page structure.
- Navigation and controls are keyboard operable with visible focus.
- Text and interface colors are selected for readable contrast.
- Images require meaningful alternative text when they convey content.
- Layouts reflow without hiding content at narrow widths and high zoom.
- Print styles preserve a clear documentary record.
Known limits and reporting
Accessibility review is ongoing as the Archive grows. A verified public accessibility-reporting channel has not yet been established; this page will identify it after approval and testing. The absence of that channel does not reduce the Archive’s responsibility to correct verified barriers.
