The Real Crime Stories Archive is designed toward WCAG 2.2 Level AA and aims to remain readable, navigable, and understandable across devices and assistive technologies.

Current approach

• Semantic headings and landmarks support page structure.
• Navigation and controls are keyboard operable with visible focus.
• Text and interface colors are selected for readable contrast.
• Images require meaningful alternative text when they convey content.
• Layouts reflow without hiding content at narrow widths and high zoom.
• Print styles preserve a clear documentary record.

Known limits and reporting

Accessibility review is ongoing as the Archive grows. A verified public accessibility-reporting channel has not yet been established; this page will identify it after approval and testing. The absence of that channel does not reduce the Archive’s responsibility to correct verified barriers.
