About the Archive

The Real Crime Stories Archive is a permanent, victim-centered repository for memorial context, documented case history, and the public record.

Purpose

The Archive preserves evidence, context, and memory so that victims remain present as people rather than being reduced to case labels. Its public records support careful reading, historical understanding, and responsible research. The Archive is not entertainment.

Institutional role

The Archive is the durable record within the wider Real Crime Stories organization. It is distinct from the Newsroom, which addresses current reporting, and from private research systems used to evaluate material before publication. Only material approved for public access appears here.

Stewardship

Kenya is the Archive’s sole archivist, researcher, editor, and publication authority. Publication decisions remain human decisions, and the Archive’s public/private record control is the authoritative publication mechanism.
